Due to the increase of COVID cases in New York State, to include the North Country, Blue Line Insurance Agency Owner/President Kelly Gonyo decided that both agency’s offices, in Lake Placid and Champlain, would be open for appointments only.
“The health and safety of my employees, our customers, and communities we serve remain my number-one priority. So, that’s why I made this decision on November 30,” Kelly said. “Since the beginning of the pandemic, the agency has taken numerous measures to ensure the well-being of all, while continuing to provide insurance to our clients and customers. With having the ability to handle all aspects of customer service by utilizing the technology available to our business, it makes it easy to provide the same great service that all of our customers are used to, while closing to walk in traffic.”
Kelly has not given a timetable as to when the agency’s doors will re-open to walk-in clients. For the time being, clients are encouraged to leave payments and comments in each of the agency’s drop boxes. She also encourages individuals to make payments on-line.
“We plan to be back to walk in traffic as soon as it is safe for everyone,” Kelly adds. “We understand the challenges to some of our clients that are used to coming in each month and thank them for their understanding during this time.”
